This shit still doesn’t make sense. Bran’s time travel powers are some of the worst written of all time
>>
>>222311913
Oh yeah a later season episode of Game of Thrones didn't make fucking sense? Noooo
Man nothing made any sense. Jon Snow and the wildlings got on boats to escape Hardhome and then walked to Castle Black on the north side of the wall.
>>
>>222311913
the only way all that stuff makes sense is if the 3-eyed raven takes over bran body, effectively killing him and using his crippled body as a suit, and uses his time-travel influence to arrange for bran to become king of westeros so he can rule as an immortal demigod

Any media that includes time travel without the premise being explicitly about time travel is shit by default.

this was when D&D's decision making was starting to visibly unravel even to normies, so HBO just sort of forced GRRM to say "yeah thats gonna be in a books too" when we all know full well it wont be and he knew full well he wasnt going to finish them anyway. same with burning Shireen. just pure shock value burlington bar bait shit

Ok, so my natural inclination from observing is that I'd absolutely hate twin peaks and everyone that enjoys it is probably a pseud who hides their low-iq behind vagaries, platitudes and pretentiousness.

That said i am open minded and enjoy being wrong, could you or any other anon write 2 or 3 sentences trying to sell me on twin peaks? Without the aforementioned hallmarks.

>everyone that enjoys it is probably a pseud who hides their low-iq behind vagaries, platitudes and pretentiousness.
Well I don't know what to tell you...
It does get interesting with the movie and season 3, but everything else is just a soap opera with occasional wackiness

it's an outsider auteur in 1989 given a major network tv show to do whatever he wanted with
he gets his friend from hill street blues to help him run the show
they make a murder mystery set in a pnw small town and weave in supernatural elements until eventually a whole weird mythology forms
then the network makes them solve the mystery, the auteur gets bored and wonders off, the show starts to fall apart, then the auteur comes back to try to save it with one of the best tv episodes even made, it's too late and the show is cancelled, weird arty types in europe love it so much that they give him the money to make a movie continuation, he makes a prequel instead, then twin peaks is dead for a quarter of a century, but weird arty types and people who ended up making tv and running networks still love it so it gets another season only this time the auteur directs every episode and ends it on his terms
there's literally nothing else like it, whether or not it's for you is something you can only find out by giving it a try for yourself

Sounds like a text-book definition of pretentious media. Not that that automatically makes it bad, people get caught in these sophistical analogous media traps all the time (the bible lmao), mostly because it makes them feel like there is something else out there.

Not for me

I HATED everything about Bran's arc. The only plot twist they could manage over several seasons was revealing how an actual retard got his name. Biggest wet fart ever. Honestly it would have been better if the little faggot fell to his death in episode one.

oh, you're a midwit faggot, never mind then

How many times did he goon to Sansa getting raped?

It is easy for you to say this online, but if we knew each other in real life, I'd watch the show with you - then have so many questions that you won't be able to answer, or you'd answer with "Yeah, idk, that isn't the point - the point is to not understand it". It's happened a lot to me in a lot of conversations, i just shut people down by asking them to build a small simple foundation for their beliefs rooted in reality - turns out the majority of people never do this building for themselves, they just parrot.

Cracker?

It's not about intelligence lol, it's preference. Some people enjoy spiritual nonsense not based in reality, i don't.
Then there are people that latch onto spiritual thinking and proclaim intelligence with no basis. In my experience works, as described here such as twin peaks, attracts those people. The "you just have to watch it bro" types who offload their thinking to a realm where it cannot be challenged.
You're not one of those people, right... Anon?

>>222311913
Doesn't this have more to do with the fact that the series decided to skip all of the magic related content that exist in this series, which is a big part of this series, so the few they decided to go with felt kind of off?
>>
>>222312013
True but I can abide scrying

1. It's got Ray Wise.
2. I've never been able to finish the first episode. Lynch is a hack and a meme

People get annoyed at the insincere person that treats everything with irony. You are tolerated.
Make yourself better and actually engage from a genuine standpoint? Or is it better to live in a world where you're never serious, you can just turn from everything at a moments notice because you're unable to invest yourself, to put yourself out there? (Much like how some artists create art that has no inherent meaning and pretend like it answers something fundamentally deep within the human soul - they just can't say what or how, because like... You just have to get it... Man)
