Gunn probably was willing to let him make his own trilogy so he would be done by 2027-2028, just in time for a new DCU Batman. Nobody expected it would take three years just to get the second movie script. With Batman 3 arriving in 2030 at the earliest I don't see DC waiting so long for main universe Batman
i think Snyder's work was the pinnacle of DC. I think Gunn is competent director and writer but his only good movies were dawn of dead burn bright and GOTG1. I think believe Green Lantern will be a critical hit. or at least people will actually watch. Im a fan of Lindelöf, he makes great tv shows. Everything else int he pipeline for DC is utter dogshit.WB / DC are in trouble.
