The final scene from Six Feet Under Season 4. Its put life into perspective when I thought I couldn't handle it.

Don was a shitbag, he had a little brother who loved him,hes just like chuck mcgill, this was the worst thing he did he killed his baby brother

>>222323807
Reminder that Don’s advice was terrible.

I recommend it. Its one of the highlights of the golden era of HBO (Sopranos, Wire, Deadwood, Rome). Some criticize it for being lofty, sentimental and melodramatic at times which is a critique I get. However, I found it genuinely moving with profound and poignant statements about life, art, death. You really care about the characters. Its also consistent, no sharp drop off in quality like other shows.

I'd say try watching the first few episodes. If you like it, that will answer your question.

Wanted to try for a while. Guess this is the time thanks

No nudity kinda bugs me.

>>222324244
He was a shitbag of course, but that doesn't mean I don't like the character.
and no little brother killed himself btw
>>
>>222324258
It wasn't at that time. In any case, some of Don's actions and commitments made me realize some stuff and find motivation to build my life from scratch. Escaped Neetdom in a way that I don't feel like a slave.

It has plenty of sex and nudity
>>
>>222324244
The little brother killed himself don only takes passing responsibility. He's is a self destructive asshole though. That's kind of the entire point.

this airing on toonami as a kid caused me to watch quite a lot of anime over my life, its just a really really good show
its just media consumption, which is probably not what you meant, but it's a significant amount of time and ive made quite a few friends discussing it with others
