This movie isn't even remotely scary. People watch horror movies because they want to be surprised. At least Terrifier is creative, and you get to see a real demon wreaking havoc all over the city, just like in a good old slasher. Funny Games serves only as a critique of violence in film. It presents a tasteless, simplistic, and realistic horror scenario. It reminds me of that hippie message that tasteless violence is horrible and that you should feel guilty for watching it blah, blah, blah, this movie exists solely because of your desire to see people suffer.

Mid means average; even if you think it's a shit movie there's nothing else like it, so it is by definition not mid.
