It's already good, i'm just on the first season.

I remember it being on free to air TV in the late 90s here (Australia).
I tried watching it, but i was too young (retarded teenager) and just didn't get it.

It's been so long since I've seen this show I can no longer separate it in my mind from that other similar show starring Brian Benben.

It's odd I just finished my second viewing of the show (my first was over ten years ago) and it's oddly comforting and while I don't laugh aloud I do chuckle occasionally. I don't think I even love the show. But again I've watched it front to back twice so I must like something about it. Recently a friend was looking at my HBOMax page and started making fun of me for having Larry Sanders on my list but he despises Jews so I guess that makes sense. I find Shandling aight. Liked him more than Larry David.

I was just rewatching the cartoons Dr. Katz and Space Ghost Coast to Coast, and was struck by the guest appearance of Janeane Garofalo in them, but also in Larry Sanders Show. The 90s were the era of overt Jew comedian nepotism.

I don't recall Janeane Garofalo elsewhere outside these popular shows cramming her into your mind.

This is probably the best written TV show ever made. Watching it seasons 1-5 is probably the best experience I've had with a TV show.

It's also odd to watch this show so far in the future when this type of legacy media is dead and no one watches late night shows anymore.
