I wish this movie was good. Such an interesting idea wasted.

I wanted mortal engines to be better maybe I should rewatch

She’s ugly and george clooney is lame and so is his stupid jacket
>>
>>222333256
Yeah same deal with Andrew Stanton and John Carter. In theory these animation guys should be able to cross over into live action. I guess Brad Bird did succeed with Ghost Protocol.
>>
>>222333256
This movie had 1 (one, singular) redeeming quality.
>>222333620
He's never been a good actor.

What a stupid title

Clooney is great when working with the Coens.
>>
>>222333256
is that sadie sink?
>>
>>222333703
More like he’s tolerable because they know how to use him
>>
i'm so glad we don't see george clooney nowadays. you zoomers have no idea. this guy was the OG nepo-baby+Zendaya+tiktok infludencer all rolled in one.
the way he utilized the 00s gossip magazine culture to go ~viral~ and up his profile. god damn.
recently i watched Casey Affleck's interview with some footballer from Boston in his podcast that he did a few months ago and Affleck talks about how he felt like an outsider on that Oceans set and how someone said to him that you're luck to be here etc.
now he's the only one wtih a best actor Oscar out of all that "stacked" cast.
an absolute insufferable riding with Obama in a boat twat.

post the lolibot getting hit by the car

Hey, sometimes it's good to be out of touch.
>>
>>222333256
main character looked like a tranny and acted like one too. robot girl was the best thing, along with house's monologue at the end.
>>
>>222334045
WTF are you talking about.
cloony was on one of the biggest TV shows on the 90s and became the generic heartthrob that women liked, that is how he made it in hollywood, then in the movies he has charisma and carries scenes so made it big, despite not really being an amazing actor and mainly just playing himself in nearly every role.

As for that casey affleckquote, well it is real. He had not done anything of note by then and was i guess nepo into the roll via his brother, whiule he is up against 2 of the biggest stars of the day, cloony and putt while also having stars like andy garcia (washed up by then) and eliot goolding in the movie.
nobody was watching the movie for casey affleck.

I actually like this movie and it gives a nice vibe of optimism juxtaposed by the apocalyptic shit, only thing that lets it down is they shove hugh laurie in it at the end. Not got a problem with him, just he is a comedian, not suited for the role.

How devoid of imagination was the judge of the invention contest that he couldnt see how useful a jetpack would be?
>>
>>222334045
Clooney was famous because women loved him
that's it
>>
Without a doubt the worst batman
>>
>>222333606
I quite enjoyed MOST of that movie. There were some ass parts, including the girlboss asian skypirate. But in general was a good time and I may watch it again.
>>
>>222333256
Britt Robertson should have been a bigger star.
>>
>>222335538
Same I remember enjoying a lot of it and the setting seemed really sick and I loved the assassin robut guy but small things were irksome. Maybe the books are worth looking into
>>
The biggest tragedy was it resulting in Bird basically being blacklisted.

He was my #1 choice to direct Man of Steel 2.

>I guess Brad Bird did succeed with Ghost Protocol.
Yes. Had that had a better villain it would be the best of the series easily.

Lindelof is the reason it was shit, but he was being overrated hard at the time because of Lost (even though his episodes were the worst ones).
Also a bunch of the most interesting parts of its plots were in le ARG memes and tie-in media.

I was thrilled when I saw her in some hellraiser thriller. Her getting knocked back when she rings the doorbell is in the slideshow.

>Lindelof
Oh yeaaah. I liked to think I like it despite his input.
>>
>>222335976
Her only good movie is the one where she's raped by uncle Ben

She played a precocious teen wonderfully.
>>
I liked this movie, desu. I liked a lot of those 10's original movies, desu. John Carter, Lone Ranger, Mortal Engines, Jupiter Ascending. I felt they all deserved better.
