Disclosure Day flopped so badly that Spielberg is now making a Ready Player Two sequel
https://www.scifinow.co.uk/news/screenwriter-zak-penn-set-to-write-ready-player-two/
>>
good
I liked the first one and I expect it will look poggy in HDR
>>
i wonder if his leg will be even longer this time
>>
>a Ready Player Two sequel

so Ready Player Three? Did they already make Ready Player Two? With the tranny and everything?

>Ready Player One THE BOOK
Good, I really liked it and would recomend you read it. Way better than the movie.
>Ready Player One THE MOVIE
Ok, but i'd say a solid 7/10 and I lost a lot of the charm and nostolgia from the book and/or made the book parts worse when on screen. Left out some good parts from the book too. If you'd never read the book you would not know what you're missing but the book is tons better.
>Ready Player Two THE BOOK
Didn't like it, it was very very lame and they straight up rip off Sword Art Online and even reference it in the book. . I really don't remember all the things I hate about the second book but i'd rate it a solid 3/10

So all to say the movie, Ready Player Two is going to suck dog balls since the book sucks dog balls. The original book was a solid 9/10 and the movie they made was a 7/10 so I expect this movie to be a 1/10. Of course it will get a 97% score on RT because we live in clown world hell.

I liked Ready Player One so I read Ready Player Two. It was the worst book I've ever finished in my life. That said, I kinda want to see it made.
>>
what videogame references could it even have. the hype for overwatch had died already by the time the first movie came out.
>>
there was a ready player... TWO?!
>>
>>222333309
the first one is kino
>>
>>222333309
The first book was good and fun and I don't care who says otherwise. The first movie was a poor adaptation of it that snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. That first trailer and the idea of turning the first key challenge into a race was brilliant and I really thought Spielberg was going to do well with it, but he flubbed it.

The second book is genuinely mediocre to bad and I cannot condone any adaptation of it that isn't just a total rewrite.

Slopclosure Day was a terrible turd of a movie

Full of satanic anti-christian messaging

Spielkike can't help himself
>>
>>222333309
Yeah, but at least it rocked Christians specifically to their core!
>>
>>222333309
>not making a movie about THE POEM
>>
>>222335347
I rewatched it a months or so ago, and I honestly can barely remember it. Besides a few details that completely ruin it, like how they solve that race problem by racing backwards. As if that isn't something someone would've tried within the first day. The whole thing feels like that, I guess. Like these extremely simple solutions are treated like the biggest, most insurmountable hurdles. You can do that shit in a fantasy or sci-fi (non-VR) world where people have to put their lives on the line to do wild shit, but in VR that's not a concern so people would be doing these crazy things all the time.

VR is just a cringe premise for stoytelling. Only way to make it even remotely interesting is by adding idiotic stakes to it, like the matrix does. you die in the matrix, you die in real life! and you need to be connected to a phone line to log off, because...? no reason! your SOUL travels through the wires, I guess! totally retarded. like all VR stories are.
>>
>>222333309
you mean the sequel that's specifically written with progressive & feminist values to correct the chuddy theme of the 1st movie?

I'm sure it'll fine.
>>
>>222333309
>Ready Player Two sequel
retard
>>
>>222333642
I'm of quite the opposite opinion. RPO the book was fucking unreadable Wattpad-tier trash, and it took Steven fucking Spielberg to turn it into something watchable.
>>
>>222333309
Were 'le UFO files' being released a funny coincidence, or was it purposefully done to drum up hype for the movie?
>>
>>222333642
>Good, I really liked it and would recomend you read it.
absolutely not you faggot geek
>>
>>222333428
We hope so
>>
I hope it has aliens.
>>
Unironically what the fuck happened to Spielberg, how did he fall so hard?

whats wrong with it
>>
>>222341529
The same as with all others. Delusions of grandeur and no people to save him from his own stupidity.
>>
>>222338978
Probably a coincidence. UFOlogy has been somewhat popular again for a couple years now.
>>
>>222343011
UFOlogy is pretty much dead and the old kike certainly noticed the trend. The last chance to get boomers in the theater.
>>
>>222341529
He's 80.
>>
>>222333309
this movie is too 2010s to have a sequel
even back then it was too cringeworthy
