The first movie had a somewhat relatable premise in two retard friends scaling that antenna (the reluctant breakup gal being pushed to do it by social media thrillseeker gal) and shit going wrong. It’s not super realistic but believable and most of the shit that happens is fairly logical.
The premise of the sequel is trying to scale some insane cliff face in bumfuck nowhere. Already you have destroyed relatability and given the characters an expertise that knowingly set themselves in danger. This really fucks up your premise.

They could have done another “stuck in the ski lift” movie which would have been closer to what works with the first. Frozen (2010, not the animated one) became ludicrous and maybe the height isn’t impressive enough so move it to one of those sketchy line cars that traverse giant chasms in the third world. Perfect fodder for some “finding myself” hags to get stuck on and for the audience to feel that could have happened to them. It’s also vital these are huwite ladies because they’re the only ones dumb enough to do it and dream about it. I will collect my script doctor cheque now.
