This show is what happens when you write from the "female gaze".
>>222341062I have no idea what this means
>>222341081nude males and clothed females
It all started in season 5 with the sand snakes
>>222341081It means that everyone tries to solve things by talking about their feelings. Even the men.
>>222341062you could have just posted this in the general but decided to make a thread because...?
why do you even watch this shit, I swear /tv/ pretends to be antislop but +80% of the threads are either capeshit, star wars (same shit) or "subtle" coomer threads masquerading as actress roles
>>222341244You know you people really fucking piss me off. Because the book is fascinating, as it's written as a war of succession with dragons and a lot of twists and turns. So I wish it could have been adapted as an interesting miniseries instead of this fucking homosexual soap opera they're making. But it isn't so I got my right to complaint about it.
>>222341244/tv/ is just reddit but with more racial slurs
>>222341202I really hate that fucking trope.
>>222341081The female gaze, when grounded in intersectional feminism, it actively integrates race, class, sexuality, and ability into visual and cultural storytelling, ensuring that the-things-we-see do not just center white, cisgender women, but reflect diverse, complex human experiences of BIPOC cis and transgender women.
>>222341062>House Of The Dragon Is About ‘The Patriarchy’s Perception Of Women’> Framing the series around Rhaenyra and Alicent was an idea that came from Alexis Raben – who, as well as being Sapochnik’s wife, is a development executive at his production company. “One day, she said, ‘This would be much more interesting if it was about the two main female characters, rather than the male characters,’” Sapochnik recalls. “‘If you really focused in on the patriarchy’s perception of women, and the fact that they’d rather destroy themselves than see a woman on the throne.’ That wasn’t a perspective I have ever told before. I think it made this show feel more contemporary too.”> We said, ‘What if Alicent is like “Women for Trump,” and Rhaenyra’s like punk rock?’
>>222341062Not enough cute, wounded and bleeding knights kneeling and swearing fealty to their cute lords.
>>222341062>>222341202This season hasn't really had much nudity at all. We saw a pair of tits and a few dongs but they were pretty brief shots.
>>222341202leabian sex scenes and uncle fucking rapes
>>222343837Why would women want dykeshit. Women like yaoi and want Aemond to have sex with Lucerys and Aegon. It's dykegaze.
>>222341244what are some good shows, anon?
>>222341368Also you don't need to login
>>222341368shut the fuck up nigger
>>222341527>What if Alicent is like “Women for Trump,”lmao this bitch is michelle obama without the penis
>>222341062Season 1&2 pissed me so bad that I just skip everything related HOD
>>222341062dunc is so much better than this show despite lower budget and runtime
>>222346608>Dunk is not absolute distilled shitwow
>>222341062It’s amazing how a show with dragons and shit can be so fucking boring
>>222348426
It's kind of wild how off-book this ended up. Like there are very few keypoints that the show is required to follow to be technically considered an adaptation but otherwise it's a fucking mess. It's gonna be funny when the last season is them scrambling to actually reach the fucking end.
>>222348426made it 3 episodes in and have no interest in continuing it
>>222341476Holy shit this hurt my brain to read, bravo Hess
>>222349559
Whatever. At least it's better than Silo, now THAT is the definition of female gaze
