No matter how you try to spin it or look at it, the Redneck Dad is just an asshole.

But it was at least better at least in the first 95% of the film where he was just a retarded and uneducated country bumpkin who thought he knew better than everyone else because he was brainwashed growing up into being afraid of le evil commiefornians. In that sense the film is at least entertaining in how it demonstrates the culture clash.

But then the movie goes full retard and says that actually he's an evil mastermind who planned everything out and has been waiting his whole life to get revenge on his sister because he got in trouble as a kid once.
