How would you rank/rate the Shin trilogy?

I know this may sound like a contrarian opinion but Shin Kamen Rider is my favorite from the Shin trilogy. That was Anno doing an indie flick with big budget and stunts. I doubt he'll ever get that kind of creative control

All of them were fine, Godzilla probably the best of the bunch, but I feel like Anno has become kind of a square. Shills for the Japanese establishment, clearly not able to tap into the angst and frustration Eva was tapping into anymore. Still a talented director but he's lost his edge.
