I once got stopped and searched by the British police for no good reason. I wasn't driving, I was committing the greater offense of walking (like Rambo). Apparently my walking was suspicious because I was out at 2am in the morning. I felt like saying, "Oh I'm sorry officer, I didn't realise there was still a curfew on 60 years after World War 2." But I didn't say that, I kept my mouth shut because I could tell that this cop, who was a woman by the way, was looking for any possible excuse to arrest me. I played along with the game, I let them search my bag and pockets. She asked where I was going. I told her. And where had I been? I gave the address. Did I have a phone number for that house? I did. She seemed disappointed that I had given a full account of myself. But she had to let me go.

I'm not American, but as I understand it American jails have a big problem with overcrowding, which means the COs are vastly outnumbered by the prisoners. That leads to a lot of self-policing and gang law among the prisoners.

It's a fucked up system if you ask me, because it means the worst prisoners will be the ones who are punished the least. The hardcore psychos and career criminals take to prison like ducks to water. The first-time offender, the guy who led a normal life up to now, is the one who will get gaped.

I got pulled over because my headlights were accidentally off and I was apparently swerving. Then the cop claimed she smelled alcohol (even though I don't drink). I was so annoyed and confused, like oh crap I'm about to deal with a corrupt cop. Thankfully I watched a lot of cop videos on youtube so I shut up and let them do the test and followed their orders. They let me off with a warning but it still annoyed me they can lie and possibly ruin peoples lives like that without any reprocussions.

A lot of people in prison became criminals because they were sexually abused and it made them mentally ill. Some went to juvenile detention centres as kids and were molested by the pedos who work in them. They then carried that rapey behaviour into adult detention.

Jail or prison? Jail is only filled with losers, burnouts and drug addicts. My cell had 6 other people with a shower in the corner. We were only allowed to leave the room for one hour a week to go into the room right next to it which had two dumbells, a pull up bar, a vending machine, and electric clippers if you wanted to shave your head. You could also volunteer to work in the kitchen, but the positions were always filled. If you touched another man or implied that you wanted to fuck him you would get beat by everyone else there. All we did was watch Family Matters or the news for 14 hours while occasionally doing push ups or sit ups. It's honestly an incredibly peaceful and monastic life. It was the only time I was completely stress free and, dare I say, happy.
