That having been said this movie actually sucks, and is kind of a hack job attempt to deliver Goodfellas 2. Best parts are James woods and some of the assorted minor oddball characters. I'd say it's the start of Scorsese's slide. His newer stuff is pure shit no matter how much people suck him off. So much of it is attempts to recapture the Goodfellas lightening in a bottle.
