Why did Jews end up controlling television and film?
The actual answer was that theater was traditionally seen as a grubby industry, with actors being on the same level as prostitutes. It wasn't a hugely desirable vocation, so Jewish immigrants got a foothold in Vaudeville, and then transferred their skills to moving pictures. Then they basically polished a turd and made showbiz seem glamorous and suddenly everyone wanted to be involved. They owned the studios and got rich. I admire their ingenuity and have a lot of respect for Jewish people.
