They clearly didn't have a solid outline of the plot beyond season 1, it's a vague, meandering season is season 2. And that ending... I didn't hate it though and will watch season 3 to see where they go with it all.

>>222361739I don't think it was disastrously bad or anything, mostly just kind of mediocre and aimless. the only good parts were the Mark and Helly romance, and the finale, which was a 10/10 and the best episode of the whole show. that made it worth watching for me, but you could have cut 90% of the rest of the season easily.

I think the problem will be in getting there, and they will probably stretch it out over several more seasons than it should be to capitalize on its success. We can already see that in season 2. The finale of s2 was excellent, it had a great, well thought out ending. The problem was they didn't know how to get there and spent the whole season up to it wandering around aimlessly to pad for time. I can imagine they do have an ending already, it's the amount of filler in between now and then that worries me.
