I haven’t been in theater for years. Wanted to go see new spiderman. Now all theaters have assigned seating? What a turn off. Guess im never going to see a live showing ever in my life again.
Why is that a problem?
That was always a case. Otherwise people would sprint to the best seats when they let people in

During sold-out show they'd put their coats and backpacks in the seat next to them and prevent anyone else from sesting there. One customer accused me pf overselling the screening because he couldn't find a seat. When I went to have a look I'd see all these empty seats with personal articles on them.
