There was absolutely no reason to make any Rocky sequel. They all got progressively worse and it made less and less sense that aging, punch drunk dipshit Rocky was able to get good enough to keep beating younger and stronger opponents

tbf that was an actual plot point in Rocky 3 that Mickey was purposely picking bad opponents for Rocky. Rocky 4 though was just cold war propaganda though
