We will never get similar parody series for any modern shonen (JJK, CSM, DS etc) because modern shonen are at their core soulless and there is nothing worth parodying them. Similar to how we essentially have no parodies for movies anymore beyond the Scream series, which sucks. You need movies that are actually memorable enough to parody.

It was pretty good from like late saiyan saga till the end of namek. I actually thought those last namek episodes with the frieza fight were kinda worse, but it only really took a nosedive later with the androids. Never finished watching the cell saga, it was too cringe for me at that point.
