What's a reasonable number?
I used to think this movie was dumb and a little pretentious but as I get older I realize it's genuinely profound, like modern epic tier. I guess Kevin Smith flew too close to the sun or got MKUltra'd because I can't imagine him ever making something like Clerks again.

>>222372302Yeah unfortunately Kevin Smith films kinda contributed to the whole making nerd culture "cool" thing we are suffering from now, but Clerks will never not be 90's kino
>>222372160Dicks sucked? In your early mid twenties?I'd say under 5 would be preferable. Usually they've had 1-2 serious bfs they fucked and a few randos they fooled around with

>>222372398>making nerd culture "cool" thing we are suffering from nowyou retards need to get over this shit already, jesus christ
>>222372302a lot of factors went into smith's few good movies>right place/right time>nerdiness wasn't "cool" yet, they were outcasts and losers>had his youthful tenacity. he would make a scene happen, even if he had to get creative and thrifty with his budget (or lack thereof)>he was a nobody, thus he wasn't up his own ass about how great he was>didn't smoke weed back then (this might be the BIGGEST factor)>starting with mallrats, he had prime scumbag-era weinstein in his cornerclerks, clerks animated, mallrats, dogma, J&SBSB, clerks 2 are all absolute kino (clerks 2 being on the weaker end of his kino streak)
