Okay but is Sticky Love worth it?
The previous Netflix romcom was the Suzy Genie show and it was atrocious.
>>
>>222409081
Sticky Love is much more fun. Suzy Genie was boring imo. Song Hye Kyo as a genie was the highlight of that one for me.
>>
>>222409111
I like the side characters especially the ahjummas
>>
>>222409081
FL is pretty. Female viewers love bad boy gangster ML's
>>

My Sweet Mobster was good too then?

Mobster wasn't a liar, never been with a woman and too soft.

what is the best ntr kdrama? are there even any?

my mister? i dropped it by episode 4 top kek

Thirty Nine - sick woman's affair man got cucked

maybe the Trunk but i dropped that too

One of the better posters Netflix has shat out recently. I hope it's as interesting as the synopsis makes it seem
>>
Don't watch cuckery. It's bad for the soul.
>>
just make the soul stronger
>>
>>222409495
I don't actively look for stuff with it, but there's some below with elements of infidelity.

- My Mister
- Notes from the Last Row
- Mad Concrete Dreams
- Karma (kind of)

>>222409535
Dear hyungs, spoiler tags, please :(
>>
>>222410267
but you weren't gonna watch Thirty Nine, were you? also it's a relatively minor plot device. there's far more tragedy than a little cucking
>>
>>222410267
Sorry. That bitch just triggers me. She was terrible to our sister too in That Winter The Wind Blows.
>>
>>222409495
that girl stays loyal to her dorky cuck bf and rejects chad though.
>>
Is spooky in Love watching just for attorney woo?
>>
>>222410676
*worth watching
>>
>>222410676
Suppose so. She's great and the romance part is cute enough. The drama itself isn't top tier but it's not terrible or anything
>>
>>222410676
I don't hate it, and I'm watching primarily out of obligation to mother Eun-bin.
>>
to quilting-interested chingoo from last thread:
yeah, machine embroidery is complicated. my machine is a husqvarna-viking, but they're all similar: program a design with the stitches and order and thread-color changes, send it to the machine, wait for it to tell you when to switch the threads, fix mechanical problems as they crop up. half of sewing is knowing your machine, really. and half of quilting is ironing, so idk how much of it is pure sewing at the end of it lol my software has a function where it turns it into a video showing you how the design is going to be slapped down stitch-by-stitch, but idk how to turn that into a webm for posting purposes.
anyway, you should just master quilting squares together first, and then go from there. just pick a couple "charm packs" (that's what they call the 5" square cotton precuts) in whatever colors or prints that you want, they even have manly plaids and things if you don't want flowers... borrow a machine or get one on the cheap, stitch em together in a certain order. make grandma proud!

watched more agent kim tonight. it is very dad-core!
>>
I wonder if anyone actually lives in this house IRL. A vacation home or a rental property perhaps
>>

>>

Song Hye-kyo ows me a footjob. Sexy cougar.
>>
>>222413333
Do they pay you in Kopiko or Subway giftcards?
>>
>>222409060
why can't they produce more serial killer cop stuff without whacky comedy and cringe romance
>>
>>222414343
Seen Nine Puzzles already? It's decent, I think. And there's neither romance nor tons of MCU comedy from what I remember.
>>
>>222414147
Both (I give the Subway giftcards away)
>>
we need unnie back. this general won't last the way it's currently heading. already on the verge of a 404. damn you cucky, ntl and the torrent threatener!

Absolutely not, the last two threads without the psycho controlling redditor freak were the best we ever had recently. Call back to the old kdg days.

Yeah, it was totally bopeeper that was a psycho control freak.
>>
>>222415797
so you are still here. Nice lie bopeeper
>>
>>222415715
He called people idiots a lot but that was because he disagreed with their takes on Korean Dramas or media in general. Meanwhile the people attacking him would fling insults and accusations about things that have nothing to do with either of those things, all while trying to dox him.
>>
>>222415884

>>222415797
At some point in time you're gonna to confront the reality of who you truly are.

You're not even worth talking to, you can't let go of this strange obsession you have even after you run him off, clogging up half of the threads with the put your name on crap. bopeep is just the classic korean hwabyung sociopath. thats the version of schizo i didnt want to be, and did my best to not. unfortunately his type of schizo sociopath is somewhat common in korea and it's cringe.

im lucky to have good irl friends who pulled me away from that path.
>>
also im pretty certain bopeep used to be the janny and abused his mod powers, but it looks like he got them taken away somewhat recently. any time he would sniff me out he would curate/delete my posts.

that's the kind of schizo that is living on kdg - completely thread destroying.

address your biased assumptions before you dismiss and entire genre out of hand. it's fine to not like something, but to devalue something as cringe and superficial just because you don't like it is a bit much. have you tried to watch a decent amount of romance or melodrama without being standoffish about it from the outset?
>>

Obviously people here watch romcoms. I mostly watch them. Although my favorite dramas are romance thriller hybrids like The Glory, Tale of the Nine Tailed, Healer and so on. Yeah when it comes to Korean movies, I exclusively actually do watch crime thrillers or action, but that's because they are suited to movie lengths. Full length tv dramas need to have emotional romance, otherwise I just get bored.

I started watching these things for the romance but I've been more into the thrillers and such in recent times. A lot of the romcoms are misses for me (picky), but it's fun when one hits. I don't mind some plastic surgery if the acting is decent enough

NTAs but this year has been pretty decent for me. Even the worst drama I watched (Doctor Shin) was still quite enjoyable in its own way. Only drama that really pissed me off was Siren's Kiss, for being a shit ass adaption. Probably gonna be butthurt about that for some time

So I watched the first episode, and had a genuinely good times. As always with romcom, the thriller part is a bit cringe, but that's ok.
You guys didn't lie, the FL actress is good (I don't find her attractive sadly, but that's on me), and the comedy parts land well, it is actually funny (which is quite rare for romcom which usually mistakes just chaining tropes for comedy).

Glitch was a really decent little series. the characters were interesting and the acting wasn't bad. it was silly but dark at times too. I was relieved it didn't turn out like mysterious skin (american film) i won't actually spoiler it. I'm also glad i discovered it later, i've seen a couple of headlines from around the time it aired about how it was a queer love story and it just felt like how some gay people talked about sam and frodo's relationship. it didn't feel gay at all.

This show is thoughtfully written. It's surprising that Jung So Min is the least believeable character. Her acting is good but her motivations for liking In-Guk's character doesn't quite add up for me. I'm on episode 9 and she is "relieved" to hear it wasn't In-Guk who did it, but considering what she told him earlier after her friend died.. her sigh of relief doesn't make sense.
