Why am I, during the siege of Tumbelton (the peak of these two's arc) confused about where Ulf and Hugh even are? Why have I not been told ANYTHING about what Hugh did after his wife rejected him? It's a confusing and shallow mess. At least we got another 5? Or so minutes with Mysaria in this episode because that could not possibly have been saved for post Tumbleton! They somehow found a way to make this a worse finale than s2. Amazing.All this comes back ultimately to us spending way too much time with Alicent, Mysaria and "Nettles". There is an actual cost to spending too much time on characters irrelevant to the story you are telling. This is a TV show with 8 hours a season, not a book with 1500 pages for you to stuff full of self-insert wankery.
