It's Inland Empire. But Straight Story and Fire Walk With Me, particularly with the deleted scenes added back in, are up there.Now look at me and tell me if you've known me before.

It gets the point across more efficiently. The scene with coop and the room above convenience store all edited together is the best example. You get everything you need from them combined.
How was Blue Velvet a critique of the suburbs? Every place the main character goes to looks like a city set. The suburbs dont have seedy apartment buildings and clubs.

It's so good that when my relationship with my brother was at its worst I rewatched it and immediately went to fix it that day. It's inspirational. Anyone that doesn't rate this movie highly is bitter and doesn't care about love.

There exists an interesting piece of David Lynch lost media. Mark Frost did a series for Fox in 1990 called American Chronicles and Lynch directed an episode that was never aired on American television. It aired on satellite reruns of the show in Europe and there also exists a European VHS release of the show which includes it as the final 13th episode. I know for a fact that a university library in Amsterdam has a copy of the set for rent and as far as I know the episode has never made it online. The rest of the series can be found through searching, but now the episode titled "Champions" which was directed by Lynch.
