Are you ready to accept that the prequels are good?Go through the process outlined in the image.
They're shit.No I will not.
were doing react to react meta now. disgusting.
>these movies are good>why>i watched a youtube video saying they were goodMike Stoklasa should have his belt and shoelaces taken away, it's never been this over for that hack.
there's no better indicator that movie is good than a youtube essayist telling you you're watching the movie wrong
>>222493382It's not unheard of to hear someone's opinion and have it make you think about your own, if not influence you.
>>222493398The shit characters, the shit dialogue, the shit acting, the shit story, the shit editing, the shit pacing, the shit cinematography was because you need an eye exam. You like the music didn't you?
>>222493422what are you attacking me for? i'm agreeing with you
>>222493409All jokes aside, I watched (or more correctly, listened to in the background while working) the Worley video and he certainly made it clear Lucas really thought the prequels through, had goals and arguably accoplished them. And that many prequel critics are retarded. But I still don't think the movies turned out good. Especially AotC is a weird fever dream that looks like a bad PS2 game.
Why do Star Wars fans make such a big deal about RLM's reviews on them? I just don't get it, if you like it, why do you make such a big deal about what some guys on one YT channel think?
>>222493465It's a hell of a lot easier to attack some fat retard with a YouTube channel than it is to defend how bad those movies were, duh.
>>222493454I watched that one too. He gives Lucas too much credit for his referential cinematography. The points I found myself reflecting on the most in that video were related to the shallow criticisms of the prequels as products instead of films, and that Chris Stuckmann is an actual retard who doesn't offer any unique point of view at all despite claiming he's an analyst.
>>222493465they need to have a "boogeyman" to focus on, for leftists its trump and netanyahu, for ukrainians its putin, for prequelfags its a fictional character called Mr Plinkett
>>222493351>The RLM videos on the Peequels are "problematic as fuck in 2026"Every single time with these people. We call them "Peequeltrannies" for a reason.
>>222493454>Lucas really thought the prequels throughI have never seen a bigger fucking lie.The Prequels have some of the most amateurish, slapped-together hack writing to ever have the privilege of being adapted to screen with a large budget. Lucas may have had some creative ideas at some point, but he has never had the skill to properly tie it together into a cohesive narrative on his own (he used to know this back in the day, which is why the original Star Wars trilogy was very much a product of collaboration rather than the product of "a sole visionary"), and there's a lot to indicate that he didn't even particularly care anyway, instead letting merchandisability and marketability dictate many of his creative decisions rather than artistic vision.
>>222493465Are you new to Prequeltranny threads? They GENUINELY believe that the Prequels were not only genuine masterpieces of filmmaking, but were even recognized as such by the vast majority a moving-going audiences, as well as society as a whole, during and immediately after they're release. They genuinely believe that backlash against the Prequels didn't exist until the Plinkett reviews were released, and that those reviews were the SOLE origin for the backlash as well. They are genuinely engaging in historical revisionism. Or they are just outright legitimately delusional.
>>222493351I don’t care, Mr Plinkett will always be hilarious and those reviews were funny as fuck.
I dont understand this prequel revisionism.I watched them as a child, prime "I will defend them even if they're shit" age and I didn't like them AT THE TIME.I bought the video games and lego sets, but the movies? Whatever. Saw the first in threaters, the second on DVD and the third like, never. These movies are not good. They're just not.
Why are the RLM reviews problematic?
>>222493351They were bad. The sequels being utter shit doesn't change that fact
>>222494391All the problematic stuff in them.
>>222493351>problematic AF in 2026Entire post dismissed.
>>222493351You're not Donald. You cannot make me believe something against the proof of my own eyes and experience.
>>222493761I've never really liked Star Wars, so that's why I'm not so familiar, but I do consistently see prequel fans acting like these reviews single-handedly caused hate for the prequels. Which I don't get, because plenty of people at the time showed hate towards the prequels, hell South Park made a whole episode about it because Matt and Trey hated the first prequel.
>>222493351Sorry prequelbabbies. You were useful when the ST shills were plaguing the internet and needed a reminder it was even worse than the PT, but you’ve outlived your usefulness.I do apologise for fooling you all into thinking people had changed their minds, but the reality is that people just fucking hate mouse wars so much that they were willing to lie about it.
I don't see it.Episode 1 is pretty bad in most regards, but at least it looks like a Star Wars movie.Episode 2 is borderline unwatchable and unfathomably ugly. It was probably the worst movie in the series until Episode 9 came out.Episode 3's pretty good, yeah.
