It's got some good stuff in it but it's pretty mid overall even if you don't include the later seasons. It's catnip for people without a personality though.

As much as I utterly loathe Ricky Gervais, yes, the American version is trash. The UK version clearly went in with an end already in mind, which will always make a show superior to one that just goes on simply because it's popular.
I actually just saw the la creatura that played Dawn said she has some inoperable bone cancer. That sucks but even at her best on the show she looked like someone melted plastic and stretched it over a flag pole, Pam was no 10/10 but I could at least kind of understand two average guys fighting over her.
