Is 2026 the new 2019? In 2019, there was a record-breaking NINE billion-dollar films and there are five billion-dollar films in 2026 so far. And considering that Avengers: Doomsday will almost certainly make at least a billion dollars, that means 2026 will have six billion-dollar films. So it seems like theaters are experiencing a resurgence this year. Are people giving the theatrical experience a second chance?
