Also, the point was that they came to a dead end. Tuttle was the only powerful local that they knew for sure was in the group and he killed himself meaning they couldnt get any more info out of him. The tape had all masked men so they couldnt go off of that. The crazy redneck was still a threat because he was still LARPing out the sex cult. Also, this series was based on a real life incident. A daycare in Louisiana was being run by these crypto satanist meth head hicks who were abusing children.
