S1 of GoT is simply pure kino because they pretty much did a 1:1 books adaptation. Obviously there are a few minor differences and compromises but overall it's a 10/10 i'd say. The last scene with dragons is cathartic as fuck.

My main gripe with S1 was Robert's casting ironically. He was too short and too much a fat drunken fool. He's supposed to be a gigachad tall football frat boy past his prime.
