The last 30 minutes perfectly encapsulates the entirety of the movie by just how passionless the directing was. The movie's only redeemable highlights were a few mediocre cgi scenes involving the cyclops. No wonder the trailers all sucked.The fact you're making parallels to the last jedi is very telling considering tlj grossed over a billion dollars but just about everyone nowadays considers it the worst disney star wars movie released. But what would I know, I still refuse to watch it and the last movie of the new trilogy. I've only ever watched the force awakens once and that was in theatres when it first aired.
