People need to accept that the whole wish angle was just a poorly thought out plot device for Curry Barker to make a movie about a crazy fucked up spooooky girlfriend. He has even said in interviews that he had the idea for the story but couldn't figure out how to make it work until he saw the Simpsons Treehouse of Horror episode.It doesn't make sense because it wasn't written to make sense. I am saying this as someone who enjoyed the movie and likes what Barker and Tomlinson do online.
