Assuming I can muster the interest to even watch a season 2, I'll have to rewatch 1. Simply because I have no idea what went on. It felt like nothing. A real snoozer of a show - literally. I've probably watched it 3 times based on picking it back up after dozing off. It is really interesting for Gilligan to shift to a 2 episodes where shit happens format to a nothing happens format. Truly an auteur of our time.

I'll stick with good tv thanks. Enjoy getting strung along for several years just to get like 18 episodes of television. Meanwhile I'll start another 16 episode kdrama that actually ends.

No, it's because of the massive gaps between anything happening, so people forget what has actually happened (worsened by Vince still pissing away an episode by putting something small at the start and then ending the episode with a reveal about that small thing, like that teddy bear eye shit in Breaking Bad). It's the same reason why people binge watch previous seasons of shows when a new season comes back after a years long gap (which is also happening with this show).

But if it's something HUGE like this or Stranger Things or GOT, there's a decision to take at least two years break between seasons and the writing of the new season is always somehow worse.Strike while the iron is hot and all that, otherwise it cools and people don't care anymore (including people working on the shit).
