Imagine releasing this piece of shit after Return of The Living Dead.
No wonder Romero never recovered.

Just watch Land of the Dead, which basically was the original script for Day, until Romero had to junk it and create a new one, the money men refused to give him his requested budget over his refusal to get an R Rating
>>
I've never watched this movie entirely, it always puts me to sleep.

I heard that's what happened to Land as well. Lots of ideas were cut/scrapped. Romero always had lofty ambitions for his follow up to dawn (his mangum opus).
>>
>>222509276
Romero had nothing to do with ROTLD lmao
>>
>>222509276
This is the best one though

>Romero had nothing to do with ROTLD lmao

That's probably why it was good

I kid of course

Maybe.
>>
>>222509276
It was the best of them.
You dolt.

I always liked this one better than Dawn. Dawn has more action but it's cheesy, laughable action unless you saw the movie as a little kid or are a boomer who saw it when it was new. Zombie action has come a long way.

Nah. I first saw the original Dawn in my mid 30s and I liked it better than the remake which I saw as a teenager. Untrained civilians making handgun headshots on running zombies is dumb.

Not sure if OP meant Dawn of the Dead or ROTLD, but fucking retarded take either way. ROTLD if a stone cold 10 and somehow Romero's trilogy (which Day is a respectable closer to) still mogs. There's not a zombie movie in the world that could step to the worst entry in Romero's trilogy.

Fucking great movie, easily the best of the dead movies.
