Why did he even join the glorified crew in Jersey? I haven’t watched the Italy episode in a while but I don’t remember or know why

Tony wanted an actual competent soldier so he gave the Italians a discount on the cars to get Furio. The thing that never made sense to me is why would Italians even want to import stolen Mercs and BMWs from America when it would be way easier to get them locally in Europe.

I sort of assumed furio would be good with a secondment to jersey where he could earn for a few years then disappear back to Italy
