I think if you were to use the most objective criteria possible, which will wouldn't be "fully objective," then yeah, the 20th century was overall the peak of humanity. If we go by something like "novelity per capita" 20th century is fucking insane compared to the current century, but, we're only 1/4 into it. 21st century might end up running away with novel tech inventions, but AI is probably going to put a huge damper on future development. As far as entertainment and culture goes, it's dead and buried in some Boomer's shadow. We peaked.
