The Two Towers sucked dick after the burial mounds scene and the dark gate scene. It was spectacular before that, it weaved the two plotlines concurrently but seperately very well with fantastic pacing, but then the second half of the movie just went to pure shit. And the shit of the end of Two Towers negatively affected the pacing of Return of the King.
