This movie started off well, in spite of the tiresome cliches about the Middle Ages. They filmed on location in France, or so it seemed. Adam Driver is a good actor and believable as a medieval knight. Eventually you're charmed into believing the washed out color palette and peasants perpetually covered in mud is just the cost of doing business to get a film set during this era. But the final third of the film became such a farce of feminist hyperbole that, in concert with all the other cliches, and despite all its pretense, this film is very low and unsophisticated. It's capeshit but with swords and armor. Medshit? Swordslop?
The whole "3 sides" thing was a fucking pointless waste of time. They could just edit it down to a normal movie and it would be better for it.

Anyone living in reality knows who to believe. Ridley Scott simply isn't fooling anyone. Adam Driver is the victim but I still found it satisfying to see the chud win in the end. My experience with this movie would make Ridley Scott seethe lol I thought it was fun.
