Re-cast them.
>>
Tom Holland and Zendaya

Captain America wouldn't be too difficult to recast. Tall, handsome, goodolboy patriot - not hard to find

Iron Man is the issue because his character is awful and is only popular because of RDJ's interpretation. Any recast would either be in his shadow or have to do a wildly different take on a shit character

Why does Captain America need to be recast? It's just RDJ that's why too old.

>Why does Captain America need to be recast?
They don't want to pay Chris Evans' salary again
>>
>>222530429
Chris Evans is 45 and has started to let himself go. He's not hungry anymore and is just coasting along between paychecks. The audiences are starting to realize they don't want to watch an out of shape man nearing his 50s doing action roles
>>
>>222530212
He's just saying it because nobody cares about the MCU anymore.
>>
>>222530212
But they previously said those characters were never coming back because we had Iron Heart and Black Captain now. Why did they change their minds?
>>
>>222530676
That was before the Multiverse allowed them to do whatever they wanted
>>
Downey as captain america and Evans as iron man
>>
>>222530212
Just use AI actors, cheaper, they can be used forever, people dont give a shit at this point
>>
>>222530212
Pedro Pascal & Pedro Pascal
>>
>>222530212
I don't know why so many people are married to the mcu actors as their characters. Replacing actors isn't that big of a deal.
>>
>>222530212
I heard they weren't recasting iron man at all. RDJ is back, baby!
>>
>>222533820
that's hero movies in general, same reason why nearly 30 years later jackman is still playing wolverine
or why snipes is the only live action blade we've had besides that weird hbo show one
>>
>>222530212
Idris Elba and Zendaya
>>
>>222530212
The ugliest nigger in the world and the second ugliest nigger in the world.
It's a foolproof casting plan.
>>
>>222530212
let it die, holy shit
7 years of gay race communist reddit live action series slop and now this, fuck off

Tony Stark is a really tough one because you need an actor that can portray the addict side of his personality, the genius intellect side, and the trouble with relating to others while being charming all in one. Robert did an excellent job of it because he was basically just playing himself in the role, his career as an actor basically mirrors what Tony Stark the characters core arc is. It's the ever rising to the top, self sabotage that comes with addiction into a fall, into then rising again like a phoenix before again losing himself to his addictions over and over. Same reason he was an excellent Sherlock.

There's plenty actors aged 35-45 with a public addiction and falling out in their past, but for how many of them were supposed to be the next big thing, the next great star, before falling into addiction and how many of them have the chops to portray the quick-witted charming intelligence of Tony? The names that sort of fit when doing a search for actors with addiction problems are all too old or already dead.

Its called continuity.
People enjoy products with strong identity and continuity.
When they become familiar with a product they enjoy they feel safe and invest in enjoying it.
Replacing an actor that audience dont enjoy the same makes them feel bad.
Its audience psychology 101 and thats why the mcu was a massive hit.
>>
>>222530212
Then why didn't they just fucking do that for Black Panther
>>
>>222530520
But the character is also nearing his 50s so what does a recast fix, having a 30 year old run around as a 50 year old
>>
>>222530212
Well no shit, can't have increasingly old men play the same character forever. Waffling as long as they did bit them in the ass as it is.
>>
Dan Schneider and Gary Glitter
