I miss the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.If it wasn't for Disney completely fucking up and interfering with Depp's private life and looking like pieces of shit for it, we could have had 3 more Pirates films by now.Everyone agrees Curse of the Black Pearl will always be the best one, and the sequels are of declining quality. But even the weakest of them still were great films, and better than the Marvel toyslop movie that comes out every other month. They were grand movies with gigantic sets, with real pirate ships, shot on real locations. With the CGI being crafted with mastery over how to do it cheaper and crappier to keep the budget down.

>>222531282I found Stranger Tides was the weakest one, due to the only Pirates film that never had a ship battle at sea. Blackbeard was vastly underplayed. But Barbossa really helped carry the weak parts of this movie.
