My buddy who grew up downtown hates this movie because it reminds him of the kids he grew up with.
>>222536319i hate things that remind me of things in general. every time i'm reminded of something that happened i hear a banshee shriek in my head sort of, and i start panicking and i feel the urge to flee. so i tend not to reminisce. that being said, this is a dull movie
>>222536319I'm so glad I was already 18 when I saw that and that it made me sick because I was a wholesome boy from a small town with two middle class parents who stayed together. It was like a sick look into another dimension. One I've never had to be near.
How did he get AIDS from virgins?
>>222536708You really should practice introspection. If you don't sit with the emotion it will just keep haunting you until you die.Alternatively, picrel.
>>222536841You have to remember that in the 90s AIDS was THE big bad disease that you would catch the second you had unprotected sex, and hospitals had uncountable infected blood packs they were handing out like candy. Regardless, if we somehow disregard that the movie is essentially the writer and director's not at all disguised fetish, the most obvious conclusion is that Telly was being diddled at home and continuing the vicious cycle of dealing with the trauma he was experiencing by doing it unto others. But that's a reach that is never even alluded to in the movie.
My life was more Ken Park than Kids.
>>222537127AIDS was scientifically more contagious in the 90s kinda like covid but it became less contagious
>>222537128Why would you let an indian chick rape you?
>>222537172i wanted me pee pee to become the big pee pee
Bully 2001 is obviously the best clarkino
>>222536319I didn't watch this. I figured it was niggered and catered to pedos. Was I right?
>>222536868so you're saying i should drink myself to death?
>>222537443I mean it's a solution. I'm not saying it's the only solution but it's on the table.
>>222536319whats it like to be a street kid. I was a sheltered kid. Do you anons prefer the life of a sheltered or street kid?
Sensational and schlocky, with little beneath the shock. Artistically unmemorable, a waste of time on its own merits. But most people don't watch films alone, they watch them to have something to talk about, and Kids delivers on that front, if nothing else.
Found a deleted scene from Kids that got cut for being too disturbing.https://archive.4plebs.org/pol/thread/540746543/#q540747144
