The 'Martha' thing didn't bother me at all in and of itself and I could see it actually working in some way. The problem was the rest of the film was just retarded and Snyder is an overrated hack.

Henry Cavill Superman is a microcosm of the overall problem. He's great. He looks the part. He's perfect. But that doesn't change the fact the film he's in sucks. Such a waste.
