Under the Silver Lake is probably my favourite film ever yet I'm still undecided as whether I want to pay £16 to see this new David Robert Mitchell film. I've read dozens of comments in review threads and still can't make my mind up. My main concern is that this is a one for me one for you film where the director has agreed to make this 12A dinosaur movie to generate a lot of money and goodwill so he can then make the next film he actually wants to make. We're this an 18-rated film and didn't feature boring bogged Hollywood stars as the leads I'd have no qualms paying to see it but I don't want to pay to see what amounts to be a safe family dinosaur romp. I want to see this guy making more films that are completely insane, stylish and tense.

Do with that information what you will.Still feels like an 80's Amblin family film. Probably have to blame JJ Abrams for that. That sucker has been trying to ape Spielberg for decades now.If you wanna support DRM and help him do another movie, then you can see it in theaters. Maybe wait a bit to see the box office numbers, if the movie is sucessful without your ticket.
