Why did the hype for picrel and Endgame feel so much more fucking REAL and gigantic compared to Dudsday and WillNotEvenBeFuckingCloseToSecretWars84or15?

because the brand meant more back then. They hadn't blown their wad and shoved out 100 mediocre, terrible movies. There was more quality than bad MCU movies when Endgame came out.

Unfortunately they pulled a Star Wars and had zero plans for what they wanted the future of their franchise to be.

Marvel/Disney made competent movies, the MCU formula didn't become stale until after Endgame, they used the best comics storylines, movies weren't woke and didn't push women like the Marvels.

you were 33 years old back then, now your are 43 years old with a mortage, 2 kids and several paid overdue.

to sum up: people got old and moved.
