What is/was the absolute worst way to watch kino?Be it physical or streaming.
Streaming through Wii but you don’t have the sensor bar so you have to light a couple candles to make it work everytime you want to use it.

>>222618058The 360 you could watch them with the controller, but the OG there was a licensing issue where by plugging in the remote device they saw it as you paid for the license and could now watch DVD's. It could play music CD's though with the controller, so either you are thinking of that or the 360.
I guess it was, or at least seemed, good enough at the time but VHS really was fucking awful.

>>222622249Its not that low because it's bad, it's that low because a 4k projector is much absolute peak compared to a CRT, and CRT will only do well with VHS and DVD, meanwhile a 4k player like the Panasonics have a special chip built for upscaling DVDs into godlike status if the DVD is high bitrate. CRT is only good if you're watching 480p/576p OR if you're lucky enough to own a 1080i CRT which you probably don't.

This seems to be the worst way ever >80 x 80 resolution non-backlit grayscale display >discs with just 30 minutes of video each But in 2003 I guess there were so few options for portable video that it managed to be a modest success anyway, so it got a bunch more models and revisions for a few years after
I just barely found out my regular Samsung TV remote can also control my PS5. I had no idea. I've been holding the chunky game controller when I didn't have to for years.
