Just finished a complete run of DS9. I've watched all of TOS and TNG as well. I am a 40yr old Boomer and I think Nu Trek is gay. I never watched Voyager because it had a female captain and black Vulcan which just felt too tryhard 30 years ago and I assumed it would just be gay. I watched Babylon 5 instead, it was great. She's this mysterious ancient alien, with some sort of "powers", but there was never any real pay off for any of it. Not in the time travel episode, not when she reveals her people got rekt by the Borg, and not even when she has a brief confrontation with Q and implies her race is on some measure of equal footing with the Q Continuum.And Quark was a much better bartender.
