Retarded plot, as par for the course with Statham movies, but at least the action sequences were competently shot, and got me going "oh that's gotta hurt" a few times. The kills were done right, and that's all you can expect from modern Statham.Also directed by the guy that did Plane with Gerard Butler (and the Mesrine movies, but that's ancient by this point).

I got the feeling with this, as with most Statham films, that this was probably written as a half-decent low budget action film and then Statham got wind of it and essentially ruined it.It's not a terrible film (bad but fun). But instead of being a gritty action caper in the vein of Die Hard, it's just another Statham vehicle where he fumbles through the scenes with his unemotive cockney grunts as the bad guys drop exposition dumps every couple of scenes in case the viewers forget the very simple plot.
