Was the star wars fandom more or less racist after this moment as compared to before it?
>>
Seeing John Boyega for the first time in The Force Awakens was the shock of my life.

I was so hyped for the sequel trilogy that I cagily avoided all marketing materials, all trailers, and all commercials. If I walked by a toy aisle at the store and caught a small glimpse of a vehicle or stormtrooper, I'd look away immediately. I wanted to go into the new era of Star Wars with an entirely open mind, as pure as an Amish virgin. On opening night I knew there was a brown-haired female protagonist (that much was hard to avoid, even though I shielded my eyes), but little else. I didn't even know which classic characters were returning.

When Boyega first took off that helmet and revealed himself to the theater, I let out an audible gasp. My entire row of filmgoers looked at me like I was nuts, but I couldn't help myself. There before me was the most Simian creature I'd ever seen in a galaxy far, far away. An intergalactic gorilla with huge flaring nigger nostrils and big Nigerian chieftain lips.

Oftentimes film studios will soften the blow by casting Billy Dee Williams or Will Smith... but not this time. This time you were forced to feast your eyes on a pure-blooded coal black silverback nigger, blown up forty feet high on an IMAX screen.

I looked around, uncomprehendingly, as the rest of the crowd seemed to accept this monstrosity as a regular matter of course. Then it occurred to me that I was the only person who hadn't already seen months' worth of marketing materials.

Little by little, they had been led to accept this by drips and drabs of commercials, trailers, and TV interviews. Their minds had been so softened that they were willing to stare unflinchingly, even giggle and smile at the niggershines, as MegaNigger (missing only a bone in his nose) besmirched the galaxy.

Lots of people debate about the exact moment when Star Wars died. I contend it was when that minstrel-looking sweaty jigaboo removed his helmet and revealed his Lovecraftian face.

He's like a caricature of a black person, always shouting and being a nuisance. White liberals really are the most racist.

No one had a problem with Lando, because it didn't feel shoehorned like this one did.

im sure they have become more racist after Trayvon/Brown/Floyd
i know i have
>>
>>222771910
Lando was awesome and no one gave a shit he was black. or if they did he was cool black. we expect blacks to be cool as fuck.
now they are just a problem.

Boyega really was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I don't blame him or even disney they just rolled a natural 1 with the timing of this.

This happened right at a time when whitey REALLY needed a break from the bullshit, BLM was popping off, gamergate had just wrapped up, and in general leftist rhetoric was starting to take hold in the niche corners.

Star Wars was the white man's purest retreat and to see this AND a mary sue shoved into it just sent people over the fucking edge.

I unironically think if they hadn't gone the idpol route with star wars there would be no trumpism or general far right swing right now.
The fact that the movie was chickenpiss didn't help of course.
>>
>>222771706
More but if they hadn't fucked up his story so bad they would have turned out less, the one character they could have done something interesting with and they totally dropped the ball
>>
>>222772475
>the one character they could have done something interesting with
I hear this all the time and I just don't buy it.
>w-w-what if i'm ackshually one of da baaaaaad guyyys
is a played out trope that had already been done to death by that point with zuko, jaime lanister, etc. and there's really only one way it can go which is the way they played it. What else could they have done with finn other than have him meet that stupid horse riding bitch who he bonded with?
(Also lol on disney backing out on da nigguh laying da pipe on rey and inventing some random negress out of nowhere that chinese audiences would be acceptable with him shagging)
>>

I wasn't racist until the left forced me to be.

Almost no one was openly racist until, like, 2015.

Yes by the virtue of actually existing.

Well part of the problem was his reason for defection being so bland

Maybe if they had waited 5 more years to make the movie they could have just whole cloth ripped off Magatsu Wahrheit: Zuerst

Lando was suave, stylish, well spoken, and a gentleman rogue counterpart to Han's embittered one. He was a good foil and eventually earns his redemption after being forced to betray the protagonists against his will.
Finn is just an uncouth ghetto nig who happens to be in a stormtrooper uniform and bumbles his way into becoming second fiddle to Rey, our real protagonist. All of his lines are either mumbled or screamed, and he shows little that's even close to selflessness throughout his entire character arc. Everything he does (with one exception) is to save his own hide or to get him in good with his oneitis.
Literally the only time he acts selflessly is when he tries to sacrifice himself to blow up the big stupid laser in Last Jedi, and that's then immediately taken away from him so he can go right back to being the comic relief nigger.
>>
Much more so after it. Before the bastardisation of the franchise, people loved Lando, Mace et al.. Since then, however, they've rightly donned the white hoods.

...Which is what (((Iger)))'s intention was -- to stoke racial animus; thereby, distracting from (((their))) machinations, such as genocide, Noahide, Ellison panopticon, the controlled demolition of (((their))) golem (issuing from that, the gentile world), and so on.

I was going to type out a whole post as to what they could do with Finn, but frankly they couldn't do anything with him without completely rewriting both Rey and Kylo.
They'd need to have Rey actually fall to the dark side (like they constantly allude to throughout the trilogy, but it goes nowhere) and Kylo would have to probably team up with Finn to get her back, but at the end of the day he's a completely extraneous character.
He should have been the one gathering the rebel stormtroopers in RoS in place of the black girl they shoehorned into it, but instead he just tags along with the rest of the cast for no reason. He has less plot relevance than fucking C-3PO.
>>
>>222774947
he is the only non-Force sensitive to wield a lightsaber in combat, and against an actual Sith no less. its amazing he didnt cut his own arm off.
>>
>>222774964
It's always like this. If a new movie has anything "woke" in it, then they're suddenly outraged fans who are being genocided.
>>
>>222774992
Mace is an inversion of the stereotypical Jedi we've seen up until that point. Most of them have been scholars, wise elders or diplomats, but instead he's more of a warrior (an actual "Jedi Knight"), and he's on the Jedi Council to represent that angle.
...Is what I'm assuming they were going for originally, but like most of the other characters in the prequels, he's kind of fucking boring and doesn't really do anything different from the other Jedi masters. He kills Jango in AotC and fights Palpatine in RotS but that's really it.
People really just like him because he's got a purple lightsaber and he's played by Samuel L. Jackson, which isn't much, but it's still more than Finn's got going for him.
>>
>>222771706
Less. John Boyega was one of the better aspects of the sequels. Star Wars fans hate women much more
>>
>>222775066
if Disney had actually had Rey go dark side in the second movie, only to be saved by Luke and Finn (with Kylo perhaps flipping as well, and Luke dying heroically) it would have been kino. but they (Disney and KK) were simultaneously cowards and subverting retards, and giving the sword-and-sorcery in space franchise to an offbeat arthouse director was peak retard.

Rise of Skywalker adds a last-minute retcon where he's suddenly force sensitive, so this is moot.
>>
>>222775193
more cowardice, would be cooler if he was just extremely lucky and brave/foolhardy
>>
>>222775137
The whole trilogy is foreshadowing the Kylo face turn and the Rey heel turn so much, it's like they had that plan originally and just left half of the shit in when they rewrote the script. But that implies they had a plan to begin with, kek
Rey constantly giving in to fear/anger/hate and Kylo constantly doubting that he's capable of being evil sets the perfect stage for them to swap sides even after killing Snoke but they just do absolutely nothing with it at all. It's so incredibly stupid.
>>
>>222775134
>John Boyega was one of the better aspects of the sequels.
That's the most scathing indictment I've read of the infamous schlock in question... Such a take should actually come with a profanity warning.
>>
>>222775223
it would have involved Rey being less than perfect, even worse if she takes Kylos place as the apprentice. they couldnt have that in their girlboss moment.
glad KK is now in the backseat, though she still collects paychecks.

Lol bricsfags still on this cope?
>>
>>222775218
Yeah, it's complete shit. If I remember it's just some bit with him literally doing the Leia from the end of Empire bit where he looks off into the distance and goes "Rey needs our help" or something like that and they go and pick her up from Sith Planet.
>>
>>222775248
Yeah, the whole "tee hee star wars is for girls now, le force is female" shit really ruined any chance the sequels ever had. You can't write a story with new characters who are supposed to be taking over the reins from Luke, Han, Leia and the rest if you've just got one of those characters taking the role of Luke, Han, and Leia, and then the other new characters just stand around going "uh, I guess we're just following Rey then".
>>
>>222775279
just imagine if instead of sitting on his ass for almost 20 years, Lucas had made a sequel when the original cast were in their 30-40s instead of all nursing home residents.
nobody gives a shit about Rey, Kylo, Finn or Poe. part of that is how bad the transition was and part of it is they are unlikeable.
>>
>>222775353
Ironically I feel like the sequels might have done better if the original actors weren't even in it. Just make it a new story about entirely new characters in a different part of the galaxy doing their own shit.
But then Disney couldn't have their gay little "Skywalker Saga(tm)" despite the fact that they kill off all of the Skywalkers by the second movie.
>>
>>222775372
maybe, the best thing out of nuWars is Andor and a big part of that is theres no connection to anyone in the original movies except Mon Mothma, a character that was so lightly referenced you can do almost anything with.
>>

I tried watching Andor after everyone and their dog was telling me how good it was and I just found it incredibly boring. It's incredibly obvious where everything's going from the start and it's just painting by numbers from there.
I'm convinced some Star Wars fans are just desperate for anything that isn't complete dogshit so they're hyping up something mediocre instead.
>oh but now it's got the TIE Avenger-
Cool, I'll just go play TIE Fighter instead.

im on the second season and it feels meandering as fuck. but the first season was tight, well paced, and very good. almost impossibly good for Disney.
im sure it will get worse as it goes on, its already slipping.
>>
>>222771706
/tv/ unfairly memes this but he had an interesting premise. I didn't care he was black, I thought the idea of a stormtrooper being force sensitive and turning jedi was cool as fuck. If there were competent writers (no women) we could have had an interesting and bad ass story. But obviously the woke cunts at disney just could not do it.
>>
>>222771706
Someone did a Finn's compilation and uploaded to YT. All that his character did was scream "Reyyy" the wholw trilogy and also be saved by her. It's almost as if they used this guy as some sort of scapegoat. They inverted the damsel in distress trope using his character. He was the damsel washington in distress and Rey had to save his ass.
>>
Star Wars had Billy Dee Williams and Samuel L. Jackson; two proven and true actors that can completely get lost within the characters taht they are portraying to the point where you almost forget that you're watching a performance. They both had character arcs, fit in to the universe that they were placed in, and are regarded as beloved characters on the merit of their characters alone, not their skin colour or ethnicity.

Finn was originally designed to be a combination of both Han and Luke, the roguish bad ass mixed in with the wide-eyed optimist. What we got was a jew kvetching that there are too many white people in his script reading room and decided the absolute best idea was to cast the most simian looking fucking ape that he could snatch out of the London theatre scene, handed him the absolute role of a life time and his character accumulated to stealing a TIE fighter, stealing a jacket and stole the Millennium Falcon itself. Once the fallout from the reveal of the character which caused generational shock and trauma just seeing his sweaty baboon face on a giant screen, he came to understand that his character was just a minstrel and a sidekick joke and all the things they promised him (being a Jedi, plapping Rey, which was the end goal of that fucking jew Abrams which is getting a white girl banged on screen in a Star Wars film from the start), the actor, John Boyega, revealed just how immature, selfish, entitled and bitchy he is in his confrontations with the fans, the direction of the film and him intentionally leaking the script prior to the last movies release.

There is a stark difference between these 3 performers and Boyega, who now has no career to speak of coming off the launching pad of magnitude that Star Wars should have provided for him. Star Wars fans up till that point never considered race an issue, what with Lando being an entrepreneur and Mace Windu being a Jedi Master. Race was never an issue in Star Wars until Disney took it over.

Based and True. You could also extrapolate this and apply to the rest of male centered hobbyist and nerd communities that were decimated by woke identity politics. No one used to care because the people that were making and writing things pre 2012 were mostly straight male asian/white nerds. Hiring women was a mistake.

>Star Wars fans hate women much more
Princess Leia was one of the most prominent members of the original trio. She could shoot accurately, was fiery, and she was somewhat capable of fixing things. Padme Amidala was a senator, a queen, and a capable warrior when it came down to it.
You're a tranny faggot and no nothing about Star Wars, its history, or its fandom.
