Laurence Olivier was relentlessly handsome
>>222773706no you are just relentlessly a faggot OP
>The trick, William Potter, is not minding that it hurts. What did he mean by this?
>>222773879That was Peter O'Toole thoughever
>>222773850this
>>222773901Same thing
>>222773706sex with his wife.
>>222773941elaborate
>>222773706He looks like they crossbred Michael Fassbender and Elijah Wood
>>222773706Somehow or other when I was a kid, I heard people using his name as a byword for brilliant acting, like he was the Daniel Day Lewis of his era.So it was very confusing later on when I went out of my way to watch some of his movies and . . . he really wasn't anything special at all, pretty much the same as every other actor from the 50's. So I guess people meant that what was good about his acting was that he was handsome, and to them, being handsome is what makes somebody a good actor. Which, I guess back in the 50's, maybe that was true.

>>222775658He's a better actor than Daniel Gimmick Lewis though
>>222775906Any actor with charisma and charm is better than DDL who's le acting and full of le craft.
>>222775906This.
Olivier is probably somewhat overrated because he was relentlessly handsome. Gielgud was the real deal though.
>>222775906>>222775920>hey, you know that one really excellent thing? Yeah, well it's actually CRAP, ha ha ha!!!>look at me, I'm so smart.?
>>222777075DDL is a decent actor but he relies too much on the "method acting" gimmick or whatever he chooses to call it. Also I didn't call him CRAP, I just said I like Olivier better.
>>222777055It's a tragedy that Olivier got the Hamlet movie and not Gielgud.
>>222773706No, white skin and blue eyes and he still somehow looks like a gypsy.
>>222773706Hus head looked really interesting in Marathon Man. His skull.
