There's a writer that writes the story and someone that directs the actions, an editor and cinematogropher and etc. Those people behind the camera are the ones that are actually guiding the process along or shaping it into what it'll eventually become, more so than than any actor.

I love the world of this movie. The wacky motel rooms, demented stores and bars, strange TV stations, dead deserted exteriors. It's like everything in the movie is unraveling into entropic madness and the rapture really is around the corner. I've felt like that sometimes after COVID.
