I used to love going to the movies back in the day, especially cheap seats as kids. We would see 2 movies in an afternoon and it probably cost our parents $10 for the tix and popcorn/drinks. And as teens it was 2 movies in a night, same deal for popcorn/drinks but maybe you also got a handy.but as Corporate and VIP theatres started coming up and all of that it just got very expensive. Last legit movie I saw was I brought my Niece to see Minecraft, and before that Joker or some other with my Ex-Wife.There are very few small theatres left. But, I do have one near me! I live rural and am only a couple years in the area, but I had no idea.It's showing Odyssey until Thursday then it'll go to The End of Oak Street.I was very happy to find this out. Although I never cared about or wanted to see the movie, I'm gonna go on Wednesday and see that Nolan Slop for $11 and $15 for the Showstopper (Lg Popcorn/Drink+Candy).Not only is that way less than any other theatre I could see it at, especially for food prices, I just want that little piece of my childhood back.If any Anon wants to come join me and give me a handy, let me know.But for reals, please share your old school small town or cheap seat theatre stories for me please!
