Everything about it
The fact it wasn't a TV show. Way too rushed and jam-packed. The concept inherently fits serialized TV far better. It came out way too early. I'd say do it now but it'd be about black gangs and be pozzed and shit. But if back in the early 2010's, HBO made a series out of it with Marty EP'ing and a top-tier cast and writers, it would easily usurp The Shitpranos and other HBO slop.
