None of the guys he stole his clothes from happened to have sunglasses on them. However, when he sees them hanging from the shirt pocket of that old bartender, it's very convenient to grab them, so he does. Target of opportunity, but not a high enough priority to go out of his way looking for some unless there IS a need.
